Welcome to the ESBOA Website

The ESBOA is an energy Trade Union currently representing approximately 2,000 workers in the Electricity Supply Board, Endesa, Eirgrid and Airtricity in Ireland

At present we represent a wide range of categories, including clerical, administrative, managerial, sales and technical staff in the electricity industry.

The OA has a network of local representatives across the companies where it represents its members.

With a full time General Secretary, Assistant Genearl Secretary and administrative staff, the OA provides a professional comprehensive service to all its members.

OA is affiliated to the ESB Group of Unions, the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU), European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) and Public Services International(PSI).
